Jay-Z, Kanye West get surprise visitor on VMA stage

(CBS) It was supposed to be a surprise, but word leaked out in advance that rappers Jay-Z and Kanye West would perform a song from their chart-topping "Watch the Throne" collaboration on Sunday night at MTV's Music Video Awards.

There WAS a surprise, however, when one unauthorized person tried to walk onstage as the two were nearing the end of their rendition of "Otis.'' He was quickly apprehended by a crew member as a bemused Jay-Z looked on.

It was the second time that Jay-Z, who had big news about his wife Beyonce's pregnancySunday night, had someone walk on unannounced during an MTV performance; two years ago, it was Lil Mama.
