Google Doodle wishes late American dance pioneer Martha Graham a happy birthday
(CBS/What's Trending) - Today, Google is celebrating the birthday of the late legendary American dancer and choreographer Martha Graham with an animation that performs six Graham dance moves and spells out the word Google. The artist would have been 117 years old today.
Since 1998, doodles on the Google homepage have commemorated holidays and other defining cultural moments, making online search all the more entertaining for users. So far, the Google doodle team has created over 300 doodles in the U.S. More than 700 drawings have been made across the globe. While the initial rollout of Google doodles started as a gradual process, this online artistry is now presented on a regular basis.
