(CBS) Before anyone knew him as Blaine on "Glee," Darren Criss gained notoriety for playing Harry Potter in a musical that went viral on YouTube.

So, it's fitting that Criss may make his Broadway debut by stepping in for the actor who played The Boy Who Lived on the big screen.

Deadline.com reports that Criss is in talks to succeed Daniel Radcliffe as the lead in the Broadway revival of "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying."

If the deal is made, the website says, Criss will step in for Radcliffe when the "Harry Potter" star finishes his run in the musical in January. Criss will do a three-week stint, from Jan. 3-22, in addition to two weeks of rehearsals in December, which means he'll be missing from an episode and a half of "Glee."

Negotiations between Criss and the musical's producers are expected to begin shortly after "Glee" co-creator/executive producer and the show's producing studio, 20th Century Fox TV, OK the stint, according to Deadline.

For those who never saw Criss play Harry Potter in the hilarious "A Very Potter Musical" or "A Very Potter Sequel" (or, for those who just want to see them again), the videos can be found here.
