What are the most anticipated movies of 2015?

It doesn't come out until this time next year, but "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" has already awakened the force for moviegoers -- the film has topped Fandango's list of the most-anticipated films of 2015.

The movie website's annual Hot List is based on a survey of more than a thousand fans in the last week of December, asking them about the films and stars they are most looking forward to seeing in the new year.

"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" will be released on Dec. 18, 2015, with newcomers Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Lupita Nyong'o and Adam Driver joining returning stars Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill.

"It's been a decade since the last installment of the most beloved sci-fi fantasy franchise of all time, and kids of all ages are eagerly anticipating the revitalization of the series next December," Fandango Chief Correspondent Dave Karger said of the "Star Wars" anticipation.
