(CBS) Pop stars Britney Spears and Enrique Iglesias' tour may be over before it even started.
According to Billboard.biz Iglesias has pulled out of his slot on Spears' summer tour, just hours after she announced the tour plans during a pre-taped segment on "Good Morning America" Tuesday.
"I'm going on tour with Enrique Iglesias in June," Spears told co-anchor Robin Roberts in an interview backstage.
Plans were reportedly scrapped because Iglesias, who is currently touring Europe promoting "Euphoria," would be much more than a supporting act on the bill, making it really expensive to produce.
The news has yet to be confirmed or denied by either of the artists' reps or tour promoter Live Nation.
Spears' tour will kick start June 17 in Sacramento and will continue on to 26 more arenas, according to the initial round of dates.
Her seventh studio album, "Femme Fatale," was released Tuesday.
