Effective Bomb Attacks... As Easy As IED

The paper, the ninth in a series entitled "Preparation for Jihad," does not focus on the making of the bombs, but rather on where to place and how to hide them to achieve maximum fatalities.
The paper advises militants to use small bombs that can fit in shopping bags when targeting malls. Large bombs are better for busy markets and can be smuggled inside gee tins, says the paper. It also suggests that when carrying out the attack onboard a bus, militants should place their device in a handbag or a Samsonite briefcase and to use the largest bomb you can find if they are planning on detonating the bomb at the station. It goes on to say that militants can leave the bag inside the big coaches' luggage compartment, and this way it can be detonated without this being a martyrdom operation.
The paper suggests that car bombs can be used in markets and at some bus stations, but the placement of the explosives in the car should take into account the exact location of the attack.
The paper also includes suggestions for attacks at public places, restaurants, banks, post offices, concerts, etc.
