It pays to have Dolly Parton as your godmother.

On Tuesday’s episode of “The Voice,” Miley Cyrus showed off the reach of her family connections by bringing along Parton for a duet of her country classic “Jolene.”

But Parton didn’t come alone. Backing them up were popular a cappella group Pentatonix, who earlier this month treated Parton to their instrument-less take on the song as a tribute at the CMA Awards, where Parton was feted with the Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award.

It sure looks like Parton was impressed with their work.
