Six of the teenagers are in critical condition with severe hypothermia.
Copenhagen University Hospital chief surgeon Michael Wansher says their body temperatures dropped to between 60-65 Fahrenheit (16-18 C) following the accident Friday in the Praestoe Fjord, some 50 miles (80 kilometers) south of the Danish capital.
Survivors who swam ashore told Danish media they spent more than an hour in the water, which was just above 36 degrees Fahrenheit (2 degrees Celsius).
The 44-year-old man was the only person missing after the accident. The search was called off Monday and he was presumed dead.
