(CBS News) Could your favorite "Dancing with the Stars" celebs from seasons past be heading back to the ballroom?

According to "Extra" host and Season 3 runner-up Mario Lopez, an all-star season of "DWTS" is in the works.

While co-hosting "Live with Kelly" on Wednesday, Lopez told Kelly Ripa, "You know what, Kelly? They're doing a 'Dancing with the Stars: All Stars' thing next season. They called me to do it."

As for whether he'd compete a second time, Lopez said, "I just don't know how I'd be able to pull it off."

A source connected with "DWTS" told Gossip Cop that Lopez's statement was "premature," but didn't rule out the possibility of an all-star edition. ABC has not yet revealed any plans for the next season.

Tell us: Who would you want to return to "Dancing with the Stars"?
