Cops: N.Y. man bit off part of brother's ear at Super Bowl party

ROCHESTER, N.Y. - A Rochester man bit off part of his brother's ear after they started to fight during a Super Bowl party on Sunday, authorities say.

Police say that Sean Fallon-Nebbia, 27, was hosting the party at his apartment, according to the Democrat and Chronicle of Rochester.

Both brothers had been drinking and started to roughhouse with one another after the game was over, a roommate told police. The tussle then turned violent and Fallon-Nebbia bit off part of 26-year-old Frank Fallon-Nebbia's right ear and knocked him out after punching him several times in the face, police say.

Frank Fallon-Nebbia was being treated at a Rochester hospital.

His older brother pleaded not guilty Monday to first-degree assault, a felony. He is being held in Monroe County Jail on $15,000 bail. It couldn't immediately be determined if he has a lawyer.
