Chris Hadfield and Barenaked Ladies perform song that is literally out of this world

(CBS News) Stop what you're doing this instant! Yes, I'm even talking to you cute couples who are smooching or otherwise being romantic on Valentine's Day. This is one of those things that you absolutely need to see. Watch in the video above an epic collaboration between the Barenaked Ladies and astronaut Chris Hadfield - wait for it - from space! It is literally out of this world.

Not to say I told you so, but... well, aren't you glad you stopped to watch now? The wonderful performance was posted by CBC Music who write about the unlikely collaboration:

The Barenaked Ladies, a children's choir, and the commander of the International Space Station. Put them together and what do you get? The first space-to-earth musical collaboration.
The song, "I.S.S. (Is Somebody Singing) was commissioned by CBCMusic.ca and The Coalition for Music Education with the Canadian Space Agency to celebrate music education in schools across Canada.
