CBS has added one more new comedy to its 2013-2014 roster.

The network announced Wednesday that it has ordered the single-camera comedy "Bad Teacher" to series.

Here's the show's official description: "Based on the hit feature film, 'Bad Teacher' stars Ari Graynor as an always inappropriate, fearless and unapologetic former trophy wife who masquerades as a teacher in order to find a new man after her wealthy husband leaves her penniless."

In addition to Graynor ("Fringe"), the cast also includes David Alan Grier ("In Living Color"), Ryan Hansen ("Veronica Mars"), Sara Gilbert ("The Talk," "Roseanne") and Kristin Davis ("Sex and the City").

"Bad Teacher" is based on the 2011 film of the same name, starring Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake.

News of the show's pickup comes a week after CBS unveiled its new fall schedule.
