Car Info Site DriverSide Raises First Round

This story was written by Joseph Weisenthal.
DriverSide, an SF-based auto info site, has raised an unspecified first round led by Catamount Ventures. Basically, the site offers a directory of information on stuff like car parts, service shops and pricing, all searchable by make and model. In addition to the data services, the site has an in-house editorial team and (no surprise) a social networking side, allowing car owners to exchange info. Founders Trevor Traina, Adam Jackson, and Jad Dunning launched DriverSide last year. Release (via peHUB).
