(CBS) HEIDELBERG, Pa. - A 4-year-old boy crashed his mother's car into a neighbor's house Monday morning in the Pittsburgh suburb of Heidelberg, CBS Pittsburgh reports.
According to the station, witnesses said they heard someone revving a car's engine, followed by tire-screeching noises and finally a loud crash.
A neighbor reportedly came outside after hearing all the noise and saw the car crashed into his next door neighbor's cement porch. As the man approached the smoking vehicle he didn't see a driver, but then he got closer and after the airbags deflated the child reportedly looked up at him and said, "I'm sorry."
The child's mother told the station her son snuck out of the house with the car keys and was, "going out to get breakfast."
The mother also told the station she was "inside"when the incident happened.
The house hit reportedly sustained minor damage. The child was taken to the hospital for brush burns to the head from the airbags, according to the station.
Officials showed up at the scenen but no arrests were reported.
