Biden's Son Says He's Inclined To Make Senate Run

Vice President Joe Biden's son, who has returned after serving a tour with the Army National Guard in Iraq, says he'll take his time to decide whether to seek his father's Senate seat.

Interviewed on ABC's "Good Morning America" Thursday, Beau Biden said he's "absolutely" considering running for the seat Joseph Biden held before becoming vice president.

But the younger Biden also said he wants to spend time with his family and that he also wants to resume his work as Delaware's attorney general. He said, "First things first ... there's time to make that decision." The seat currently is held by longtime Joe Biden confidant Ted Kaufman. Republican Rep. Mike Castle has announced that he's a candidate for the seat.
