Ashton Kutcher to Miranda Lambert: I "wasn't making fun" of country music

(CBS News) Ashton Kutcher hit the Academy of Country Music Awards stage Sunday night in an elaborate country-style get-up, complete with a black cowboy hat. He even tried his hand at country music, singing part of the George Strait song "I Cross My Heart."

After his little ditty, Kutcher presented the best female vocalist award to Miranda Lambert, but she has since questioned the actor's intentions.

Kutcher, meanwhile, insists he wasn't poking fun at country music:

Lambert wasn't the only one wondering what Kutcher had up his sleeve at the ACMs. Country singer Justin Moore also took aim at the star, saying  he  doesn't "care for people making a mockery of the way country artists' dress."
