When Web users head over to Apple's online store, they'll come to a page saying the marketplace will "be back." Apple says that it's "updating the Apple Store for you and will be back soon." Although the message hasn't changed from previous notices, it's worth noting that the design of the page is different than its predecessors. When Apple previously took its store down, a yellow post-it note was usually displayed.

Apple typically takes its online store down hours before keynote addresses. Today's keynote address WWDC is slated to kick off at 10 a.m. PT. Apple has said that iOS and OS X will be on the docket, but according to rumors, a new line of MacBooks might also be shown off during the event. Rumors are mixed over whether the iPhone 5 might make a showing.

CNET will be live blogging WWDC, starting at 8 a.m. PT.
