Photo: AP	After 179 episodes of I Love Lucy and 13 episodes of The Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour, Lucy and Desi decided to call it quits as a couple. Lucy went on to star in several of her own series, and in the early '60s, she married Gary Morton, a Borscht Belt comedian. They stayed together until Lucy's death on April 26, 1989. (Desi passed away before that, on Dec. 2, 1986.)
