March 5, 2001:

Charles Andrew Williams
A 15-year-old student opened fire on fellow students at Santana High School in Santee, Calif., outside San Diego, killing two people and wounding 13 others. Police arrested Charles Andrew Williams, a freshman that other students say was regularly picked on and had two skateboards stolen from him. Williams faces two counts of murder with special circumstances, 13 counts of attempted murder with a gun and 13 counts of assault with a firearm. He could face life in prison if convicted on all counts.
