A 6-year-old first-grade boy at Buell Elementary School in Mount Morris Township, Mich., pulled a gun from his bag and shot and killed 6-year-old Kayla Rowland. The .32 caliber semiautomatic handgun was left out in the house where the boy lived. Because of his age, the boy was not charged.
