July 7 : Portland, Oregon The Early Show stopped in Portland -- The City of Roses --to give away a Great American Vacation! Thanks to a letter to The Early Show from Maryann Sackett, her son Daniel and three high school buddies -- who all enlisted and served in the military -- received a surprise vacation. "They're four outstanding young men who went to high school together. They all enlisted and went away for four years and have never been back at the same time," said Maryann Sackett told The Early Show's Dave Price. To celebrate their friendship and service to our country, Daniel Sackett, Matthew McDonnell, Shawn Brennan and Johnny Garland are headed to the Florida Keys. They will be spending five days and four nights at the beautiful Tranquility Bay Resort in Marathon, Fla. Their stay includes a fishing trip with a Tranquility Bay guide, breakfast every day, a Key West VIP pass for attractions, lunches and drinks -- plus a check for incidentals, like a rental car.
