Milagro Estefany, 2 months, cries while medics take blood work at the Benjamin Bloom Children's Hospital in San Salvador, El Salvador. Milagro is one of the 31 orphans from the Zacatecoluca "Garden of Love" Shelter. According to Dr. Pediatra Rodrigo Siman - coordinator for children infected with AIDS - some 105 children under the age of 10 at the Children's Hospital have gotten the virus from their parents in the last two years. |
