Tom Hanks reprises his role as Dr. Robert Langdon in this follow-up to "The Da Vinci Code," in which the scholar discovers and must try to foil a plot by a secret society to kill four cardinals and destroy Vatican City. The film was directed by Ron Howard (who also did "The Da Vinci Code") and also stars Ewan McGregor as a Vatican official.
