Serey went to work in a brothel when her parents forced her to earn money and she had no other skills. “I remember, during those times, my family was very, very poor. I had to find money for my family,” says Serey. In the brothel she was brutally raped and ended up in the hospital where she was rescued. Serey is now learning new skills at a Cambodian safe-home.
