Despite the morning fog, the Space Needle glows red to recognize World AIDS Day, Monday, Dec. 1, 2008, in Seattle, Wash. The RED campaign raises money for the Global Fund to help eliminate AIDS in Africa. Starbucks is partnering with the Space Needle and will be donating five cents from the purchase of every hand-crafted beverage sold at participating locations in the U.S. and Canada to the Global Fund.
