The Obamas welcome Bo, a 6-month-old Portuguese water dog and a gift from Senator Ted and Mrs. Kennedy to Sasha and Malia Obama, at the White House in April 2009. Bo spent almost a month with the Kennedys' dog trainerbefore joining the Obamas.
