Britain's Queen Elizabeth II and President Danilo Turk of the Republic of Slovenia inspect the guard of honor at Brdo Castle in Ljubljana, at the start of the queen's two-day state visit to Slovenia. Accompanied by the Duke of Edinburgh, the monarch was greeted by blue skies and unseasonably warm weather when she arrived on Oct. 21, 2008.
