A balloon filled with helium rises into the sky without the capsule of French skydiver Michel Fournier, scrubbing his second attempt in two days to jump from 24 miles above the Earth Tuesday, May 27, 2008, in North Battleford, Saskatchewan. The balloon was reported to have cost at least $200,000 and Fournier was said to have already exhausted his finances.
