The Phoenix landing site on the Martian northern plains (near 68° N. Lat., 127° W, Long.) appears in the lower right quadrant of this image captured by the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter on April 20, 2008. A few weeks prior to this late spring photo, the site was still covered with seasonal frost left over from the previous winter.
