The "King of Pop" was born Aug. 29, 1958, in Gary, Ind., and has been performing since he was a child, beginning with the Jackson 5. He was twice inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, once as a member of the Jackson 5 and again as a solo artist.
