Politics and Hollywood merged in December 1974. That's when movie legend Elizabeth Taylor married husband No. 6 -John Warner. At the time, Warner was Secretary of the Navy, but in 1979, was elected to the U.S. Senate representing Virginia. The couple divorced in 1982.
