The Paparazzi Photos Photos
A photo by Fabrice Chassery was made available Oct. 11, 2007, from evidence presented at the inquest being held in London into the death of Princess Diana. The princess is shown shielding her face as she walks to her car from the back entrance of the Ritz Hotel in Paris on the night she died in a car crash Aug. 31, 1997. Press photographers were among the first to reach the scene of the crash, witnesses have testified.
