After clearing a firebreak near Griffith Observatory, members of the Los Angeles County Fire Department's Mt. Gleason station take a break as efforts to control a massive wildfire in Los Angeles' Griffith Park continued Wednesday, May 9, 2007. The wildfire roared across the brush-covered hills in the city's sprawling park on Tuesday, triggering evacuations of homes and some of the city's most famous landmarks.
