A person rides a snowmobile past the snow-covered Wesleyan Church in Redfield, N.Y. after lake-effect snow squalls buried towns in upstate New York in snow for nine straight days. Unofficially, the village of Redfield has been hit with 12 feet, two inches of snow, which would break the record for New York state by more than a foot.
