Candles lit by Aymara natives burn as a tribute to the so-called Natitas or snub noses skulls at La Paz's general cemetery on Nov. 8, 2006. Food, alcoholic beverages and cigarettes are offered to the skulls of unidentified people as part of a traditional ritual in the Bolivian Andes to thank the dead for guarding from thieves the homes and possessions of the living.
