Stars Look Sharp For 'Scissors' Photos
Actress Annette Bening arrives at the world premiere of "Running With Scissors" Oct. 10, 2006, in Beverly Hills, Calif. Of her character, the monstrous mother, Deirdre, Bening said: "I think there is a lot of sadness in her, and she makes terrible mistakes. And I think getting the chance to try to understand and really empathize with somebody like that … is actually a fascinating thing."
