A group of Malawian charities are seeking a court injunction to halt the adoption of 13-month-old David Banda from Malawi by Madonna and her husband, Guy Ritchie. The couple have been granted an interim adoption, giving them temporary custody of the child for 18 months, the singer's spokeswoman said.
