Actor George Clooney speaks at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival ceremony honoring him with the Modern Master Award at the Arlington Theater Feb. 3, 2006, in Santa Barbara, Calif. The group's highest honor, the award cites Clooney's contributions as an actor, director, writer and producer. The SBIFF also honored director James Cameron and actors Heath Ledger, Naomi Watts and Philip Seymour Hoffman.
