Singer Mary J. Blige performs on MTV's Total Request Live show Monday March 20, 2006, at MTV studios in New York. Blige, whose middle name is Jane, was signed to her first record label by Sean Combs. Her 1992 debut album ("What's the 411?") sold more than two million copies.
