The Amirault family ran the Fells Acres Daycare Center in Malden, Mass. In 1984, several members of the family were accused of child sex abuse; some ended up in prison. The cases all were based on the testimony of children. A judge eventually threw out most of the cases, ruling that the children's testimony was not properly gathered.
