TEHRAN (CBS/AP) Iran on Wednesday hanged Shahla Jahed, a former soccer player's mistress, who was convicted of murdering her love rival in a case that captivated the Iranian public for several years.

After spending more than eight years in jail, Jahed was hanged at dawn, Iran's official IRNA news agency reported.

George Castro is fighting the charges, and "we expect that he'll be vindicated," his lawyer, David N. Fisher, said Monday.

RAPID CITY, S.D. (CBS/AP) Jury selection continued Tuesday in the murder trial of John Graham, the man accused of killing an American Indian Movement activist who was shot in the head and left to die on South Dakota's Pine Ridge reservation 35 years ago.

Graham, a Southern Tutchone Indian from Canada and former AIM member, is set to stand trial in a South Dakota court this week for the killing of Annie Mae Aquash.

ORLANDO, Fla. (CBS/AP) Defense attorneys for Casey Anthony, the Florida mother charged with killing her 2-year-old daughter, do not have to give prosecutors the expense records and contracts of their defense experts.

However, at a hearing Monday, the judge did order Anthony's attorneys to hand over copies of the notes, photos, and videos those experts took while examining evidence.
