AUSTIN, Texas (CBS/AP) Texas Gov. Rick Perry said Wednesday that President Barack Obama and Mexican President Felipe Calderon need to have a meeting geared toward helping in the search of David Hartley, the American tourist who was reportedly shot to death near the U.S.-Mexican border last week.

NEW YORK (CBS/WCBS) New Jersey prosecutors are contemplating whether to file more charges against the two Rutgers University freshmen accused of broadcasting on the Internet video of fellow freshman Tyler Clementi having sex with another man.
After the online broadcast, Clementi jumped off the George Washington Bridge to his death.
Missing Grandmother Found Murdered in Vermont

WATERBURY, Vt. (CBS/AP) Ever since 78-year-old Pat O'Hagan was reported missing in September her family and friends insisted that she didn't disappear intentionally or wander away in a state of confusion.
Unfortunately, they were right.
On Sunday two hunters found remains that would later be identified as O'Hagan's, in a wooded area in Wheelock, Vt., about 50 miles north of Montpelier, and on Tuesday police told reporters they are investigating the case as a homicide.

FRESNO, Calif. (CBS/AP) An 8-year-old girl who was abducted while playing outside a home escaped from her captor Tuesday morning after a driver recognized the suspect's vehicle and cut it off, police said.
When the driver saw the girl's head in the window, he cut the truck off and she bolted.
