McCain Ad Accuses Obama Of “Blind Ambition”

A new TV ad out this morning from John McCain’s campaign raises Barack Obama’s past association with Weather Underground member William Ayres in an argument about Obama’s ambition and judgment. The ad will run nationally, according to the campaign.

“Obama's blind ambition,” the ad begins. “When convenient, he worked with terrorist Bill Ayers. When discovered, he lied. Obama. Blind ambition. Bad judgment. Congressional liberals fought for risky sub-prime loans. Congressional liberals fought against more regulation. Then, the housing market collapsed costing you billions. In crisis, we need leadership, not bad judgment.” Watch it:

This campaign is over. Obama has won. All that is left is to lead McCain out to the saner pastures of his home state of Kansas in disgrace, only to be remembered as one of the most dispicable poloticians of our time.

Blind Ambition? Just another classic example of McCain''s addiction to transference. He does this on a daily basis. This guy is a sicko.

McCain has LOST ALL HONOR and CREDIBILITY

The stock market tumbles and Palin/McCain spend their time on his middle name or an old irrelevant acquaintance of Obama''s.

Their LIES about Obama have been disproved, but MCCAIN KEEPS LYING and the far-right radio parrots keep squawking loudly because it is the only thing they have left. Their policies on WAR, and ECONOMY have been a disaster. What else would you expect KARL ROVE and the little parrots to do?

MCCAIN LIES as the American economy declines.

Pssst...hey McCain, over here. Seeing as how the American people are losing their life savings and retirement accounts in a financial calamity that was brought on partly because of your backing of deregulation, you might want to actually pay attention to suffering Americans and spend your time on the economy instead of trivial campaign issues. Just a suggestion.

Sounds more like a self diagnosis of McCain by himself projected on another. In this case physician heal thy self.

Respectfully, and without bias to any candidate, no one wins until the voters go to the polls. Those that do not vote deserve what they get.

I think he''s confused. He thinks he''s looking at Obama but his own image he''s looking at in the mirror. McCain''s the liar, McCain''s the one willing to sell his soul (along with his integrity and honor) to win an election, and McCain is the one NOT putting Country First because he''s too busy playing in the mud to talk to people about where we''re really hurting right now. I once at least had some respect for the man. I almost feel sorry for him after this, because he will have lost alot more than just an election.

The McCain ad said the republicans fought regulation, after he said there should of been regulation of these lenders. As usual, McCain says both sides and then insists he is right and no one will listen to him.

YES, a very clear picture of you folks who post this stuff. The only part about you that isn''t clear is whether it is willfull ignorance or not.

One other thing isn''t clear about you folks. Why are you putting so much effort into wanting to see our country continue to be destroyed?

Isn''t it interesting that in TX they found over 4,000 dead people registered to vote---courtesy of ACORN and CSI. It is all over the news ..........except MSM. CNN claims breaking news, but unless it can somehow be couched as pro-Obama, it doesn''t make their news.

"My father was brilliant but poor!" "My father went to Harvard!"
The man is a storybook of conflicting information.

msa123, um, how is this a contradiction?

You ever heard of the word "scholarship"?

Blind ambition? What about the man who "palled" with a convicted con man for free trips and campaign contributions? How about a man who divorced his disfigured wife for rich, influential wife who gave him his start in AZ politics? How about the man who exploits his POW status ad nauseum? Blind ambition? John McCain defines the term!

And his morally hazardous mortgage bailout plan.

And his fake deregulation of health care that will eventually nationalize health care (after the bailout) for a minimum of twice the cost of a direct approach.

John McCain will make up anything at this point to distract the American public from his lack of substance on the issues. He can keep trying to make a story where there is none but you can bet if the spotlight were turned on his associations, it would be a different story entirely. No one wants to go down that rabbit hole and Obama has managed to stay above the sludge that McCain can''t crawl out of!

Obama''a ''Blind Ambition''? This coming from a man whose campaign party decided to use a GOP governor''s dartboard to select their VP candidate. Unfortunaley for all Americans that dart landed in the outermost ring on Sarah Palin. Give me a break McCain.

How''s S.Palin being proved as a person who committed a crime for "Blind Ambition". That''s right! Sarah Palin has been found GUILTY of abusing her power as Govenor of Alaska!! Let''s all show some kind of dignity, integrity, and honor as regular Joe/Jill American and call for her immediate removal from a priviledge/responsible role as Vice-Presidency of these great/law abiding UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. CRIMINAL!!!!!!!!

His condoning of the Negative ads is onloy causing republicans like myself to turn around and go the opposite direction away from him. Palin and the comando Mud slinging and not this Ethics Violation she should gloriously resign as VP and at least allow McCain a chance at the Presidency.

McCain is stuck with her to the Bitter end and it will be Bitter and it will end soon for Both McCain and the republican party as well for some time to come.

What a Huge show of poor judgement on His part and I certainly can not vote for him because of this and I am a republican and sick of it all.

I vote my conscious and not party lines and My Conscious wont allow me to vote for a Man who has such poor judgement for choosing Palin and continuing to allow the Mud slinging as he has done regardless of his little effort today to correct one of his own supporters about Obama when she called him Muslim he was boo00d by the croud for standing up for him this has been a crazy season and the republicans will pay the ultimate price for this for sure

I am in total agreement with waterman24. Why are we not getting more infomation from the news on the ACORN info and the fact that Obama was on the board of the CMC with Bill Ayers? Why isn''t CBS making a big deal out of that??? Come on CBS lets report the facts on both sides!!!! Help the american people decide according to the facts!!!! Everyone in Arkansas knows Bill Clinton is not going to vote for Obama. Yes, yes, they are out telling people they are going to vote for him but when it comes down to it and they are in that voting booth alone, I can guarantee you it won''t be a vote for Obama. Bill Clinton doesn''t even have anything good to say about him. He does say McCain is a good man with good ideas but will only say.."vote for Obama, to support your party".
That is pretty bad!!!
Wake up America!!!!! This guy is not a patriot, has participated in anti-american groups and had even downed America in the last few years!!!! You actually want this guy as president ????

Out of a small Acorn, a mighty oak grew. Can the Bushevik Party spell scapegoat?

The voting irregularities were report BY Acorn, not ABOUT Acorn. The people who want to disenfranchise voters are the ones violating the law. If there are fraudulent voter applications, do not allow those voters to vote. But, you cannot void legitimate registration and throw out all the new voters. The attack on the voting rights of the poor have been occuring since Reconstruction. We are seeing a continuation of voter intimidation throughout the country. It is fascinating that the voter fraud appears to occur only where the Republicans are currently in power. Perhaps these leaders can see the oncoming electoral Tsunami and are deserately grasping at any method of steming the inevitable tide. The Republican Party has decimated the fabric of the American society with their GREED & CORRUPTION and are now going to be turned out. Their policies are so corrupted, that their candidates are running against their own party. The want to be maveriks, not REPUBLICANS!
