She has to. That's because he needs her supporters - and she needs to ensure she's seen as magnanamous, and not a spoiler. A lot of Clinton's backers are anxious to hear about her plans for the future, but they'll have to wait: This is Obama's show.
Clinton might get a key position if her former rival wins in November - and she might even run again in four or eight years. That's what John McCain did after losing to President Bush in 2000. Ronald Reagan won four years after a failed bid. Al Gore and Bob Dole were eventually nominated after losing primary campaigns.
For now though, Clinton will have to be content as one of her party's leaders - but not the ultimate leader. She finished a strong second ... but there's no silver medal in politics.
