McCain Ad Says Clinton Was “Passed Over”

In a not-so-subtle attempt to remind Democratic supporters of Hillary Clinton that she didn’t get the vice presidential slot on the party's ticket, John McCain’s campaign is up with a new ad called “Passed Over,” featuring some Clinton quotes attacking Barack Obama from during the primaries.

“She won millions of votes,” an announcer starts, “but isn’t on his ticket. Why? For speaking the truth. On his plans.”

Clinton: “You never hear the specifics.”

Announcer: “On the Rezko scandal.”

Clinton: “We still don’t have a lot of answers about Senator Obama.”

Announcer: “On his attacks.”

Clinton: “Senator Obama’s campaign has become increasingly negative.”

Announcer: “The truth hurt. And Obama didn’t like it.”

Watch it:

Hillary Clinton responded to the ad in a statement, saying, "Hillary Clinton's support of Barack Obama is clear. She has said repeatedly that Barack Obama and she share a commitment to changing the direction of the country, getting us out of Iraq, and expanding access to health care. John McCain doesn't. It's interesting how those remarks didn't make it into his ad."

"Hey, if John Sidney is so concerned that Hillary got passed over, he should offer her HIS VP spot. (He needs a good rump-kicking every now and then when he gets out of line, and she''''s just the one to do it.....)"

I think JSMac would actually enjoy that sort of thing!

and Hill is just the one to do it!

John Sydney McCain III can claim whatever the hell he wants. He should be more worried about putting out a message to the American people about what he intends to do to extricate his lips from Bush''s ***. They are joined so tightly. We can''t afford another Bush term or another war with (pick one) Iran, North Korea, Russia.

*** right she was passed over and with good reason.
Why would Obama pick her when she openly said she prefered McCain to answer the phone at 3 AM

Corporations run this country people don%u2019t because they can%u2019t make plausible decisions based on facts and vision. Hillary Clinton and her Husband Ex-President Bill Clinton have basted themselves deep into the Big Money Corporate hierarchy by accommodating their interests while enriching themselves. I don%u2019t blame them, and I wish them the best always, but they don%u2019t speak for me or the majority of Working Class Americans any longer.

As far as someone who support hillary, what happened to the 18 million that if they gave at least 2 dollars would have eliminated her campain debt? instead she raised 2.5 million dollars which mean that she at least have 200,000 supporters and the rest were republicans (operation chaos) that switch because they didn''t want to see obama president. by the way biden is like a kennedy.

Hillary Clinton lost $millions of her own personal wealth on this year%u2019s election. Hillary has no choice but the cater to the Big Money Corporate interests while she%u2019s serving in the US Senate and posturing for her next run at the Whitehouse. Hillary Clinton could%u2019ve run against the Corporate Fascism that has take place during the Right Wing Conservative Agenda but, instead chose to play attack politics against Senator Barack Obama. The Reason Hillary Clinton didn%u2019t attack the Republican Agenda was%u2026.she%u2019s part of it.

If Obama loses, Hillary WILL be seen as causing it. It will be said(as it already is) that she should have conceded the nomination when she knew that it was impossible for her to overcome his lead. SHE SHOULD HAVE CONCEDED EARLIER THAN SHE DID. Because she didn''t, emotions became raw and a chasm was caused by her staying in. Now her supporters are upset because Obama didn''t allow them to HOLD HIS VP CHOICE HOSTAGE. Tough $hit!!! Hillary will not be nominated in 2012 if Obama loses!!! She will not have the same support at all. PERIOD!!!

McCain playing the High School Drama Queen. Impuning the motives of his opponents. Obscuring the issues. Anyone who votes for this dinosaur deserves foreclosure.

"The Clintons have a definite interest in McCain winning this election. If McCain wins, Hillary would be in a good position to run again in four years. If Obama wins, Hillary will have to wait another eight years for a good shot at the Presidency. She has a better chance at looking good in four years than she does in another eight years."

Hillary will be able to run for President in 2012 regardless who wins this year%u2019s election, because in four years Hillary Clinton will take her supporters and big money corporate backers and run as a Republican.

Some people are really stupid. How the F*CK! do you vote for Mccain because you''re mad Hillary didn''t become the VP. Are people so stupid that they truly believe that they will "hurt" Obama. $HIT!! Obama is now wealthy beyond his wildest dreams. He''s not going to be hurt if Mccain is the next president. The people of this country will be. The American people will continue to have their civil liberties violated. They will continue to pay their money just to have their job outsourced overseas. They will be told that their children will be drafted into the military to fight Mccains wars. Do people realize what Mccain stands for? If nothing else, they should get that one thing in their heads. YOUR CHILDREN WILL BE DRAFTED INTO THE ARMY TO FIGHT WARS!!! When it happens after you elect him, remember it was your choice to KILL YOUR OWN CHILD. REMEMBER THAT!!

Hillary Clinton voted in favor of George Bush%u2019s Iraq invasion for Oil, and also as recently as 1 year ago voted in favor to allow George Bush to use military force on a second Oil Producing Country in the Middle East Iran. Hillary needs to get off the fence and declare herself an independent or full fledged Republican, because she and her republican ditto head supporters are doing nothing but harm to the Democratic Party.

At least McCain understands he can get more votes by being a Hillary supporter than by being a Bush supporter.

Hillary Clinton is clearly working for the McCain Campaign and is part of the Conservative Agenda and her husband Bill Clinton has been working with former President GHW Bush on fund raising.

If McSame is so worried about Hillary''''s being "passed over," let''''s see HIM choose her as his Veep..........

Posted by raflin1

It would certainly strengthen his ticket and he would have a better chance of winning. The problem is that even though he claims to be a maverick Republican, he is not as far to the left as Hillary and there is a definite idealogy rift. It wouldn''t work.

McCain should shut up and add Hillary to his ticket if he is so concerned about Clinton and her voters. Just watching the recoil from the Christian right would be worth the price of admission.

The Clintons have both secreted the fact that they have become an element of the wealthy elite conservative movement. Hillary is a Wealthy Conservative and will continue to promote right wing big money policy as she%u2019s done in the US Senate and will probably declare herself an Independent just like Joe Lieberman.

One wonders if it bothers McCain so much that Clinton was "passed over" by Obama, why McCain doesn''t give Hiliary the neocon Fascist Nazi Republican slot for his VP!!!

She would fit right in with the McCain/Bush crowd: arrogant, ambitious, delusional (Let''s not forget the "Bullets over Bosnia" story!), disorganized, and surrounded by fanatical, gullible,
ultra-stupid followers who are going to vote for McCain anyway!
They sound a lot like neocon Fascist Nazi Republicans in Whimpo-cratic clothing!

Rush Limbaugh, Micheal Savage, Bill O''Reilly, Ann Coulter, and Shawn Haritty would love it!

SIG HEIL, BUSH!!!!
sig heil, 4 MORE YRS OF THE THE GREAT EMPEROR BUSH, McCain!!!!
