Katie Couric's Notebook: Jenna's Wedding

I thought I'd end the week by talking about something a lot of women in America are wondering about. I refer, of course, to Jenna Bush's wedding.

Tomorrow, she is getting married to Henry Hager at the Bush family ranch near Crawford, Texas. For my thoughts on her wedding day, just click on the monitor.

Glad to see CBS is focusing on very important news like this.

News you wont hear on CBS-
Remember all the hubbub (in other words BIG TIME NEWS STORY) about Iranian weapons coming into Iraq and how the US military was going to present the evidence of Iranian evildoing to journalists?

Well, the LA Times writes:

....A plan to show some alleged Iranian-supplied explosives to journalists last week in Karbala and then destroy them was canceled after the United States realized none of them was from Iran. A U.S. military spokesman attributed the confusion to a misunderstanding that emerged after an Iraqi Army general in Karbala erroneously reported the items were of Iranian origin.

When U.S. explosives experts went to investigate, they discovered they were not Iranian after all.

CBS front pages the Pentagon''s accusations and then ignores the corrected facts. Crazy "liberal" media!
