Second Ad Links Obama And Wright

Last week we saw the first ad of the campaign cycle linking Barack Obama and his controversial former pastor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, who is once again making headlines today.

This week brings the second such spot. This new ad, like the last one, uses the Wright/Obama connection to attack a local Democrat. This time around, it's House candidate Travis Childers of Mississippi, who, the ad notes, was "endorsed by liberal Barack Obama."

“...when Obama’s pastor cursed America, blaming us for 9/11, Childers said nothing," an announcer says in the spot. "When Obama ridiculed rural folks for clinging to guns and religion, Childers said nothing. Travis Childers – he took took Obama’s endorsement over our conservative values. Conservatives just can’t trust Travis Childers.”

I can not believe that all the bad of the world is white peoples fault. If whites hadn''t bought blacks from other blacks they would still be basking in the warm love of the african country from where they came. I realize all those murder hell holes and starving populations are better than America so maybe blacks should visit and see why they should stop crying and hating America. Thank God you are here and not there. I wish slavery had never happened, wow you wouldn''t be here complaining now if only your brothers hadn''t sold you in the first place! Brought to you by the church of Pesojoe.

REV Wright ain''t running for POTUS, Barrack is. He can''t control the way someone else feels or what they said. Come on people, keep it real. If Hillary can''t win straight up, and she can''t, the media will step in to rescue her. *** shame.

Please seems as though it''s time for Obama to pack up and go home! Him and his twenty year friend, Wright. I''ve no room for the hate of whites and the self pity they spew. If you don''t agree with the views of you pastor and church it wouldn''t take twenty years to find a more tolerant unbiased place to worship.

And, lastly of Hillary Clinton, that if Rev. Wright would not have been her Pastor, then why did she and Bill when going through Impeachment, turn to Rev. Wright for Prayer and Support and invite him to the White House? These things should be asked and answered.

Rev. Wright was a guest at the White House once. He wasn''t invited back.

Rev. Wright doesn''t make his hate speeches at other churches where he can''t video tape it and sell it to the public.

This is but a small sample of what Senator Obama would face in the general election. If he cannot defend himself against these minor assaults by the RNC now, he stands no chance in the general election where there will be many more issues to overcome.

Put him in the boat--he needs a swift trip home to his wife and kids.

It is time for the Republican-controlled Media to give this Wright controversy some fairness and enquire of Hillary Clinton and her surrogates the following:

Is it true that, (1) Hillary surrogate, Congresswoman Shiela Jackson Lee, is also a devotee of Rev. Dr. Jeremiah Wright; that he''s been preaching at her home church, where she is actively involved, annually for the past 15 years and has an open invitation to return, and, that she sat in the pews for his visits and did not bat an eye?

Is it true that (2) Hillary surrogate, Rev. Marcia Dyson was not only a longtime member of Trinity United Church of Christ but also still considers Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright her pastor? That Rev. Marcia Dyson''s seminary education, in part, was sponsored by Trinity UCC and encouraged by Rev. Wright? And was it not at Trinity were she first met her husband, Rev. Dr. Michael Dyson, who''s been very vocal in his defense of Rev. Wright.?

And, lastly of Hillary Clinton, that if Rev. Wright would not have been her Pastor, then why did she and Bill when going through Impeachment, turn to Rev. Wright for Prayer and Support and invite him to the White House? These things should be asked and answered.

The Reverend Wright has been unfairly villified by the media. In case the RNC and its 527 groups have been taking a snooze, America has moved on. These attack ads are just one more reason to vote Democratic in the Fall election. Senator Obama seems to offer a more civil approach to American politics, not a day too soon.

ENOUGH ATTENTION WITH MAKING BLACK PEOPLE THE REASON THERE IS MUCH ADO ABOUT OBAMA! IF IT ISN''T ABOUT RACE WHAT THE HELL IS IS ABOUT IT THEN? HAVE YET TO SEE THAT REASON. ENOUGH WITH ALLOWING CLINTON A FREE PASS BECAUSE SHE IS A WOMAN OR JUST BECAUSE THEY REMIND US OF THE MAFIA- WHY THE HECK CAN''T SOMEONE STAND UP TO THEM AND TELL THEM TO JUST GO AWAY? FEAR IS DESTROYING THE COUNTRY- NOT BECAUSE OF US BUT BECAUSE OF THE MEDIA GIVING IT THE ATTENTION IT DOESN''T DESERVE,

I really don''t think three posts linking to a smear campaign is enough free air time. Please link to this again.

Did you know there was an ad you could be linking to, ad naseum, on McCain''s boast that he didn''t care if we stayed in Iraq 100 years?

What has the GOP offered you for all this free air time for their smears?
