Democrats To Debate In Pennsylvania

The Barack Obama campaign just sent out a press release announcing that Obama has accepted invitations to debate in Pennsylvania and North Carolina.

Earlier, the Hillary Clinton campaign sent out a release announcing the former first lady had agreed to participate in the Pennsylvania debate, which is scheduled to take place in Philadelphia on April 16th.

The North Carolina debate, which would be hosted by CBS News and moderated by Katie Couric and Bob Schieffer, is scheduled for April 19th. The location has not been determined.

“Senator Obama welcomes the opportunity to openly debate Senator Clinton on the issues important to Americans in North Carolina and Pennsylvania and hopes that she will accept these invitations as well,” Obama campaign spokesman Bill Burton said in the release.

The Clinton release stated that "Hillary is prepared to show she has real solutions for the problems facing residents of the Keystone State." No word yet from the Clinton camp on the North Carolina debate.

Obama missed the most votes of
any democrat 80% he has not done the first job why give him another
one

Posted by popstom1 at 06:47 PM : Mar 14, 2008-----Really. No confusion as to my employment status if I even missed a fraction of that job attendance. Why, doesn''t Jesus say in the New Testament that those who are faithful with little are also faithful with much?

ADarkStorm,

What with all your comments shared, it''''s only more sensible to put a man in charge this election year--not OLD man McCain mind you, but a young man who can complete his term in office without the benefit of geritol or daily naps.

That''s one take. Here is additional thoughts; If our current administration were to declare a ''State of Emergency'' an election would effectively be eliminated. If the Super Delegates dtermine that neither Democratic candidate is acceptable / what''s best for U.S. or the party or it is too close to call, they can appoint another who is not currently campaigning for the Democratic Nominee. There are many things at work behind the scenes while the general public is having embroiled and distracted by many issues.

Is the United States moving toward military action with Iran? The resignation of the top U.S. military commander for the Middle East is setting off alarms that the Bush administration is intent on using military force to stop Iran''s moves toward gaining nuclear weapons... Here are six developments that may have Iran as a common thread.
1. [Admiral] Fallon''s resignation
2. Vice President Cheney''s peace trip
3. Israeli airstrike on Syria
4. Warships off Lebanon
5. Israeli comments
6.Israel''s war with Hezbollah
How much more war can this country support. This question is not amoral, but a financial one. Next, who better to take control and properly handle the situation of finances, current war and impending war.

With all the deaths of people surrounding the Clintons during Bills term as governor and president have the American people been duped. I listed at least 10 the last time I posted, and that was just the tip of the Clinton Iceberg. There was a prosecutor''s mother, a lawyer, a business accociate, Someone who had an argument with Bill, an associate of that person, a business associate of Hillary, and so on. There was Hillary''s "Rose Law Firm", there was the Smuggling drugs in fake cones of the Airplanes, and that list goes on. Are the American people duped by Hillary and Bill. That would be a big YES!!!!

After listening to Obama%u2019s pastor preach against whites with incredible hatred %u2026 Have those drawn to Obama simply been duped?

I''m afraid so. Even Obama may not be conscious of the extent of his own racism. But the fact he %u201Cprojects%u201D the motivation of racism onto others like Bill, Hillary and Ferraro%u2014who have fought their entire political careers for racial equality%u2014is a sign that lurking in his heart might be racist points of view. How else could he feel comfortable sitting at the feet of this pastor?

There is no way Obama can win the general election against McCain with this kind of connection to racist views against whites. The Republicans will blow this up and scare everyone, since he has family members that are Muslim too.

The question I imagine they will ask people to consider is:

How can you trust him as President to represent all the people of this great nation, when he is comfortable listening to a preacher who teaches hatred against whites and has a basic anti-American sentiment?

Hey people, listen up! Clinton is a woman. OLD man McCain is too old. So, the only real choice here is Obama. Deal with it! Also, remember this, OBAMA''s minister isn''t running for president. Get it!

Try this review in Time at Time.com - Clinton''s experience. I balanced look at her claims. Bottom line is - She did engage in all the areas she says she did. Obviously, she was not president at the time so her role was limited. I''m still waiting to hear what makes Obama qualified to be COC?? His speech. She has actual real experience & the article just covers 3 areas. It does not cover her travel to over 80 countries & meeting with world leaders. She is far more experienced in this area than he is. Where are the positive politics? He can''t make a case for himself so his top advisors says "neither of them are qualified"- great - that will play well in the fall.

"OBAMA COULD START BY EXPLAINING WHY HE HAS NOT DENOUNCE HIS FORMER ANTI AMERICAN, ANTI WHITE,ANTI JEWISH RACIST REV. AND THE RACIST, ANTI JEWISH, ANTI AMERICAN, ANTI WHITE CHURCH. BY NOT DOING SO ONE COULD ASSUME THAT OBAMA IS NOT ONLY A RACIST BUT ALSO ANTI AMERICAN, ANTI JEWISH.

JUST A FEW REMINDERS OF THE CLINTONSD DISGRACE AND HOW WE SHOULD NOT CONSIDER HER: As they departed the White House, the Clintons left with furniture, lamps, prints and other items totaling $28,000. After an enormous public outcry, the former first grifters returned this truckload of public property swiped from the Executive Mansion. For his part, William Jefferson Clinton successfully perjured himself in the Paula Jones sexual-harassment lawsuit.Long-subpoenaed billing records from Hillary Clinton''''s days at Little Rock''''s Rose Law Firm magically materialized at the White House in January 1996 -- just four days after a statute of limitations expired, thus sparing her from potential civil liability for advising Madison Guaranty, a failed bank whose collapse cost taxpayers $60 million.Today, Hillary Clinton''s tax returns remain concealed, while Barack Obama released his. How did she "loan" her campaign $5 million in January? Voters need such answers now, not after Election Day, especially since Bill Clinton''s speech and business income enhances their combined wealth. After White House Deputy Counsel Vincent Foster died from a gunshot to the head in Fort Marcy Park near Washington in July 1993, his office should have remained sealed for forensic purposes. Yet, two days later, "After speaking with the first lady, I arranged for the (Clintons'' personal financial records in Foster''s office) to be temporarily kept in a locked closet in the White House residence,"

In her 2000 campaign for the Senate, Hillary Clinton''s campaign demanded her opponent release his tax returns and even sent a staffer dressed as Uncle Sam to taunt him during campaign stops. Today she refuses to release hers. Makes you wonder what crooked and shady characters have been contributing to her funds.
Don%u2019t be afraid Hillary, release your tax returns and let us vet you.

Hillary makes ridiculous claims that she is tried and tested in over 80 countries. As the wife of a visiting US President she simply tried and tested various tea and cookie offerings but she never negotiated anything, in fact she did not even have security clearance. By Hillary%u2019s childlike reasoning this means Laura Bush is also tried and tested to be President or that the wife of a brain surgeon is qualified to operate on people!!

Hillary may have answered the White House phone at 3am but I am sure the callers always said CAN I SPEAK TO YOUR HUSBAND PLEASE!!

The republicans are feeding your brains with smoke to damage the party & most of the hatred here on these sites is driven by republicans wanting the WEAKER of the TWO candidates to be nominated.

Obama will be sustained and bring us True Democrats back to the White House. He drives such energy and enthusiasm into the whole election process. It''s not about McCain/Clinton/Obama, this season is all about ---- Barack Obama!!!! He is the shining star of this whole election & bringing young, old, all walks of life and all the energy back into Washington, DC.

We want our boys and girls out of that miserable war. Barack Obama is that -silent voice- for everyone who has lost a child & been touched by a Bush/Clinton war in Iraq and Afgha...their silent tears and the words gone - USPOKEN
Only one --- Barack Obama is that voice!!!!

Factcheck.org has some problems with Hillary Clinton"s claims of superior foreign policy experience.

"Clinton claims to have "negotiated open borders" in Macedonia to fleeing Kosovar refugees. But the Macedonian border opened a full day before she arrived, and her meetings with Macedonian officials were too brief to allow for much serious negotiating.

Clinton"s activities "helped bring peace to Northern Ireland." Irish officials are divided as to how helpful Clinton''''s actions were, and key players agree that she was not directly involved in any actual negotiations.

Clinton has repeatedly referenced her "dangerous" trip to Bosnia. She fails to mention, however, that the Bosnian war had officially ended three months before her visit - or that she made the trip with her 16-year-old daughter and two entertainers.

Both Bill and Hillary Clinton claim that Hillary privately championed the use of U.S. troops to stop the genocide in Rwanda. That conversation left no public record, however, as U.S. policy was explicitly to stay out of Rwanda, and officials say that the use of U.S. troops was never considered.

Clinton''''s tough speech on human rights delivered to a Beijing audience is as advertised, though Clinton herself has been dismissive of speeches that aren"t backed by solutions."
