Huckabee Talks Baseball In Iowa

VAN METER, IOWA -- Taking a break from some bad winter weather, Mike Huckabee stopped by Hall of Fame pitcher Bob Feller's museum, where he shared a few baseball memories with CBS News' Nancy Cordes.

Huckabee spoke about listening to the St. Louis Cardinals on KMOX radio when he was a child, and said, "For the National League, I'm still a St. Louis fan."

And who does he root for in the American League?

"The Rangers," said Huckabee, "although I just, one day in my life, would love to see them win the pennant and go to the Series."

Huckabee also recalled being in the crowd at St. Louis' Busch stadium in 2004 when the Boston Red Sox beat his beloved Cards to win the World Series.

"I'm sitting there thinking, 'You know what? If Boston wins, I'm gonna be sitting in the middle of one of the greatest pieces of sports history in the entire century.' So I was like, 'I don't even care.'"
