What does that mean?

Rick Santorum is a respectable man with conservative moral values. Because he does not support the left-wing, hand-it-to-me, Obama socialist philosophy, many tend to criticize him. But this is very much beside the point.

We are referring to Antioch College, a college that introduced, not co-ed dorms, but co-ed dormROOMS in the early 90's. I went to a neighboring college at that time. I was amazed that such a college could be located in rural Ohio. This is a college whose faculty and administration encouraged promiscuity and attracted ultra-liberal ideals. (By the way, it is one thing to express yourself and quite another to act and look like a freak!) This college couldn't pay me to send my daughter there!

I attended Antioch College in the years 1975-1980. Yes, this college changed the course of my life. While from an underpriviledged home, I had the outward appearance of an upper-middle-class person from a variety of aspects, except when benchmarked against students from the wealthier upper middle class that the school was really interested in attracting, I could not compete in terms of social experience or emotional functionality, similar to the minority applicants from poorer homes who very often turn themselves into an ethnic clique at schools and universities, in part due to the same social and economic constraints in their lives.
This school had an enormous amount of sexual experimentation going on and an enormous amount of pressure was put on vulnerable students. What made it even worse, is that the Robespierre like atmosphere was egged on by misinformed students whose socio-economic background seemed to empower themselves to come to arrogant and (if I may say, bourgeious conclusions) about other people, while the prior administrations sought to protect their own socially inadequate and unacceptable high achievers in the face of overwhelming evidence of criminal behavior. Yes, Antioch changed my life. I went in a cute young man who had great possibilities and came out a socially rejected person who could never recover emotionally, especially because the very same students who came to these decisions showed both no social conscience or responsibility for my recovery as they did for trashing me in the first place. The Marxist professor, additionally, gave off sexually inappropriate body language during a statistics interview. The place was crazy! Screw you Antioch!

Antioch College is a prime example where the faculty, administraction and consequently the students swim in a "liberal soup." If you want to make certain that your child is indoctrinated in liberal (and I mean wacko liberal) principals, then send them to this school. Of course, there are many, many other colleges and universities that do the same thing.

there is a HUGE catch that this article fails to mention, which is that ANTIOCH COLLEGE HAS NOT YET EARNED IT'S ACCREDIDATION BACK!!! that's right, all these kids going to college there aren't earning an accredited degree....yet. from what i understand, they hope to earn this back in the next few years.
gbgentleman replies:

More than likely, they will get the accreditation back in the next four years before the students returning graduate.

Another way to get that free education is to keep participating in the OWS riots until someone finally caves in and writes you a check.

I am a libertarian hard and true, which in a nutshell says your rights extend to where my rights begin. Why would you be warning folks about a "liberal campus" Afraid folks may learn to think for themselves? This country was founded by folks who thought for themselves. I make no apologies for this statement. Antioch is a wonderful school and Yellow Springs a great little town. I no longer live in Ohio but years ago many a summer day was wasted in Yellow Springs and Antioch always had some of the most respectful and intelligent students of any campus I have ever been on. And I have been on many a college campus.

P.S you spelled college wrong
